antisnotabug: ([RP] Samiel)
The prior night had not been one of Samiel's best. He went out. He drank, he partied. He went to his favorite little whorehouse and bedded three women. None of it satisfied him the way it usually did. He had been annoyed the whole time. The original plan had been for he and Kip to head out together and see what mischief they could find. At the last moment, Kip declined. There had been a reason but large quantities of ale erased it from Sam's memory. He didn't need Kip to join him. It was just nice when his friend came along.

By the time Samiel made his way for home, he was drunk out of his gord. He slept soundly, although how this was no one could say. He was passed out in Kip's porcelain bath tub. Both of his shoes had been kicked off and his shirt was mostly unbuttoned.

Kip had stayed behind, in fact, to do his duties as Sam's clerk, as the taxes and accounts of the village had been piling up on his desk lately. His friend, guardian, boss, and whatever other title Samiel took for himself, tended to be a bad influence on work ethic. Kip played catch up throughout the night, getting through two weeks worth of parchment and letters. He went to bed just as late as he would have if he'd gone along with Sam, and didn't rouse himself until nearly noon.

Shedding his bedclothes, Kip blearily made his way to the bathroom in his quarters of the manor, going about his business while half awake, not noticing Sam until he went to draw the bath.

"What the f--"

He jolted back and grabbed a nearby towel, hastily wrapping it around his waist.

"Sam!"

Kip huffed impatiently, looking around the room for any signs of the damage a drunk demon could have inflicted on it.

"What, by sleeping in my tub?" Even though he knew Sam wouldn't have a hangover, Kip turned on the shower head anyway, soaking whatever part of his employer may have been dry in the first place.

"How did you get in here, anyway? I didn't hear you come in."
